The Ruins in Santa Fe, Bantayan Island is a well-known and very popular spot to visit. Its stunning location on a cliff with breathtaking sea views makes it a perfect place for photos, whether during the day, at sunrise, or at sunset. According to local stories, the house was once owned by a German national who had a lease agreement for the land, granting him the right to build on it. After his passing, no one inherited the lease or had the right to live in the house, so the property reverted to its original owner. Left unattended, the house was exposed to the elements. In 2013, Typhoon Yolanda struck the area hard, causing significant damage, and over time the house slowly transformed into the ruins that we see today.
