The staff was welcoming, attentive, sweet and very assisting, never had any issues with any of them. The cuisine was partly german based which was incredible. While the food was taking some time, the staff made sure it's freshly cooked and served with love, definitely worth the wait. We would rather stay in the hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner since the food was so nice and price worthy. The location was in santa fe and based in the central area which was nice since everything was only a few minutes away. The ambiance of the place was probably the highlight, it would look so beautiful during night AND day. Facilities were nice and clean nothing much to say, except that our toilet wouldn’t stop flushing lol. They also had a transport from cebu to hagnaya port which was price worthy and convenient with the taxi draver (Gilo) which was so nice and talkative. Hotel also offered land tours and sea tours, both were amazing and price worthy. At the end of the day i have to say, out of all the places i've been to, this was one of the best locations and best hotels by far.

We strongly recommend staying at smak’s! The staff were amazing. Very friendly and always very helpful. We felt very well taken care of. The room was very comfortable, clean, and had everything that we needed. The hotel arranged a ride to the ferry the morning we left the island which made our departure very easy. There was absolutely nothing that we didn’t like.

✅ Apartment unit was huge with two bedrooms with attached private bath and toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, and a balcony. ✅ Resto bar was accessible and had lots of offering. Decorated nicely as well. ✅ Customer service was 💯. Joy was especially accommodating and friendly. There was also security all day and night. ✅ Allowed us to park our rental vehicle on their property ✅ Plenty of breakfast options ✅ Central location, close to the beach, shops, etc. ✅ Overall vibe was great - lots of plants! There were also birds and bunnies (caged), which were cute.

We really enjoyed our stay here. One of our best stays during our 2 month phillipine vacation. Really friendly staff, perfect location in the heart of the restaurants and bars. Nice grounds in the lobby area, a very warm feeling and modern. Breakfast was a lovely touch, good options and nice fresh juice or coffee was available. The room was brilliant, probably the best bed with the best pillows. Had the best nights sleep here and the best shower I had. Plenty of storage and prep space. Very affordable too The only thing we didn’t like about this place was having to leave!! Most places we have stayed we found little things that could be changed. But here I would say it’s all perfect.

We stayed 9 days at SMAK's Hotel and would highly recommend this place. It has a great location - quiet, but very close to the extremely beautiful Kota beach as well as just a few minutes walk to the centre of Santa Fe town with plenty of shops and places to eat. The property is super clean and serves awesome food including one of the best garlic prawns which we've ever had. The airco works perfectly, the staff is very helpful and polite. There is this warm and cozy feeling when being here. Many thanks to SMAK's for allowing us to have a fantastic time in Bantayan! There is nothing negative that we may think of. Everything was perfect.
