Guidelines for Tourists

Please find following the guidelines for tourists for Bantayan Island under the “New Normal” since COVID-19.

Port Entry Requirements

  • Paid (100%) Confirmed Booking from an Accredited Establishment (see list here).
  • Valid ID or Passport
  • Vaccination Certificate
  • QR-Code (issued by the Establishment you booked)
  • Round Trip Shipping or Airline Ticket
  • Pay Ecological Fee

Island Hopping Tour

  • Register and arrange with SYKE Travel & Tours or with Santa Fe Tourism Office located at the port terminal.
  • Present your Ecological Fee receipt.
  • Only 50% of pump boat passenger capacity is permitted.
  • Only persons traveling together shall be allowed on board
  • Island Hopping tour ends on or before 6:00 pm.
  • Passengers must wear life vest, appropriate footwear and other protective equipment.

Snorkeling

  • We recommend tor bring your own mask or snorkeling gears.
  • Spitting on snorkeling masks for defogging is prohibited (if rented)

Beach Activities

  • Water related activities (swimming, kayaking, island hopping) shall only be allowed until 6:00 pm.
  • Food and drinks are not allowed on the beach.
  • Physical distancing must be observed, also during swimming.

Land Tours

  • Register at SYKE Travel & Tours or Santa Fe Tourism Office.
  • Limit tour groups to 5 (five) people (they must traveling together).
  • Must follow transport passenger capacity.

Limitations and Curfews

  • Curfew within the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Santa Fe shall be 12 Midnight to 5:00 am the following day.
  • Any activities using loud noise (Karaoke, Videoke, Live Bands, Disco and the like) shall only be allowed during Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
  • No drinking of liquor and no smoking in public places.
  • All establishments shall be allowed to open until 11:00 pm except pharmacies and bakeries (Curfew: 11:00 pm – 05:00 am).
  • Curfew for Minors: 07:00 pm – 05:00 AM
  • Single use of plastic bottles is not allowed, use refillable water tumblers.
